Dublin, Wednesday, 7th August, 2024: Gerry Maguire, general partner Atlantic Bridge, has been named as the new chairperson of the Irish Venture Capital Association. He replaces Denise Sidhu, partner of Cork headquartered Kernel Capital, who has completed her term of office.

Venture capital funding into Irish SMEs falls by nearly half in first quarter
The IVCA is delighted to extend our partnership with Enterprise Ireland on the Road to VC Investment Programme helping female founders prepare in their road to securing funding. This programme is aimed at demystifying and smoothing the path to investment for female founded companies, and a variety of resources including webinars, mentoring, masterclasses and in person networking is available to companies undertaking the programme.
Thank you to all our members and guests who attended the 37th IVCA Annual Dinner at the InterContinental Hotel Dublin. Making this year’s dinner our largest to date. We would especially like to thank broadcaster Jonathan Healy for serving as our evening’s MC and to our guest speaker, Fergal Keane, a foreign correspondent for BBC News, who captivated the audience with his speech about humanity and hope.
